Post Code Search on V6.15 TTG 500

I have just updated my software on the tomtom go 500 to version 6.15 and yes there are some nice things on it, but why have tomtom taken a backward step with the postcode search, on the original tomtom classic when you had entered a postcode you would need to enter the full address. Well you have to do that now on version 6.15

On my old software you could just type the postcode in and the house number and you were off. Now it asks for only a partial postcode and then you have to find the street and all the other rubbish.

Has anyone else found this problem ?
or is it due a faulty installation / upgrade ?

If you have upgraded to V5 Maps, the installation comes with a ZIP Folder, containing a File called Great_Britain.Postal.

If this is on the SD Card, then you can Navigate to ... | Address | Postcode and input a Full Postcode.

Navigate to ... | Address | Postcode and input a Full Postcode.

If you type a postcode in the address field (rather than postcode) it will only take you to the town.

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
