TomTom doesn't work with updated imate SP5

Imate have just brought out the long awaited update for their SP5 smartphone, which provides push email. It is fantastic - email to your phone within 10 seonds of it hitting your account. The Blackberry is dead.

However, there is a problem is you use TomTom mobile 5. It seems that, with the update, TomTom has lost the ability to switch bluetooth on. If you start TomTom with Bluetooth off, the phone tries to switch it on and just hangs. If Bluetooth is on at the start, it is fine.

I told TomTom and it took them a week to come back to me and tell me to leave Bluetooth on - thanks guys.

If anyone else has this problem, I hope this helps.

hi, you need to full application unlock your phone. best and simplest way is to us sda_applicationunlock.zip, i used this on my sp5 and it was very easy, i had previousy tried to unlock by editing the registry but for some reason it didnt do it fully. hope this helps
