I know I'm being Stupid - P550 Tomtom 5.21

Sorry I tried to search fora n earlier message on this subject as i'm sure i'm not the only person to suufer this fate. I installed TT Nav 5.0 with Western Europe maps, on my Mio P550. It installed ok and I got it activated / authorised and working. It told me an upgrade to 5.21 was available - so I dowloaded this and went to run TT Nav 5.21, it wanted to be activated again and i had GB map and GB plus map options. As my activation code is for Western Europe it will not activate my new TT Nav 5.21 installation. I know i'm doing something stupid here but I need pointing in the right direction to solve it - any help appreciated.
