The topic says it all. Is it possible to delete entries from the "Recent Finds" list on an i3 running firmware 2.70?
I can see an option to delete entries when I view the Favourites list, but not when I view the Recent Finds list. I need the option to remove certain entries from Recent Finds, for confidentiality reasons (not I'm not cheating on the wife; it's something else). As an alternative, an option to disable Recent Finds entirely would be good enough.
I can't see any way to do this - any suggestions anyone?

I don't think this is possible. Could you not just 'find' new places until the old ones have been dropped off the end?

Thanks for the idea, that would work, but it's a bit of a pain. The "Recent Finds" holds 25 entries according to the manual, kept in reverse most-recent order, so you would have to enter 25 dummy Finds to clear it.
In theory do-able, but in practice probably not workable. But I'll give it a try and see what i think ... |

A master reset will do it but you'll have to back up your WP's on EasyGPS before.

Don't see why! You've only got to find 25 of your favourites or POIs. Wouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

Could you explain how you managed to do it in 1 minute, just took me over 20 mins to do 25 seraches just to get rid of 1 recent find  |

As long as you have at least 25 locations in 'Favorites':
Click on Where To? / My Favorites, click on the first Favorite, press the 'Back' button, click on the next 'Favorite', then the back button and so on, selecting each of your Favorites in turn until 25 have gone into 'Recent Finds'.
Or you can use the POIs in the same way. :D
