Just emailed tomtom support, but thought one of you guys may be able to assist. Please see email below:

Hi. I recently backed up my tomtom using the latest 'Home' software (which, i'd like to point out is a very satisfactory tool for keeping up to date with software versions...) and to free up space on my tomtom i deleted the majority of the voices off my device (leaving just the english spoken voices) in an attempt to speed up my tomtom as there was no need to fill up its memory with voices i didn't at that time intend using. However, I have just run an application on my PC to clean up data etc and it has wiped alot of files from my backup, including all the associated .chk files. I have therefore lost all the voices that came with my Go 700. I appreciate this is not your fault, however would it be possible to either send me replacement voices or am I able to redownload them using the 'Home' software? Thanks in advance...

Any suggestions? tia [619]

I think I'm right in saying you should have the directional voices on the CD that came in the box.

Yup, cheers Oldboy. They're there...
Thought that was just the electronic manual and initial setup disc. So, anyway got my helpful reply back from tomtom:

"Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Support. Plases try to reinstall TomTom Home from this link: http://www.tomtom.com/plus/service.php?ID=17&Language=1 With best regards, The TomTom Customer Support Team"

No thanks to tomtom (Plases?!) I've got all my voices back. Well, missin' a few (some eastern european ones i think) that got released by tomtom to download thru 'Home' a month or so ago - But I can live without them!! Thanks again Oldboy
