How different is the N20 to the F20?

I'm looking to upgrade my PDA based Tomtom to an all in one unit.

I want TMC so I've shortlisted this at the moment to either the Tomtom 510 (favourite) and the Navman N20. I've looked at and dismissed other similarly priced units such as the Nuvi.

I prefer the ergonomics of the N20 as it's a lot slimmer than the Tomtom but I had an F20 from Staples on 14 day return and took it back after a day as I didn't like the interface (little things like having the letters and numbers on different screens when doing the postcode search, although I suppose I could live with that) and in comparison to Tomtom the roads seemed very indistinct and I I found myself squinting at the maps to work out the turns.

I can't see the point of the Navpix feature without a camera, other than that though is the software on the N20 the same as the F20 or is the N20 a whole better unit?

The interface on the N20 software is similar to the 700 series software, whereas the F20 looks like is is based on the 330 series, which was similar in many ways to the original 600 series software
Confused, so am I.....

Anyway that does not matter. What it really means is they are different enough that you should look at the N20 as well.
