Just finished this mount....couldn't find anything like the Garmin mount for the TomTom.
No more telltale suction cup rings on the windscreen or ventmounts needed, just put it in the glovebox!!

A tidy way to post a link looks like this:-

which would then give you a link like :

I like to colour the link to give people something to click, like this

It's very stable, the bags are full of lead shot (I think) making it quite heavy, and the base is neoprene so it doesn't slide about.
Not too difficult to do either, just had to adapt the mounting plate from the garmin unit and glue it into the base of the TomTom mount after removing the rubber suction cup.
Cheap too, got the mount on eBay for £8!!! |
