I have a Mio 350p PDA with tomtom software installed, I downloaded the pocketgpsworld safety cameras & the POI download as well, I tried on 2 or 3 occasions to to get the cameras onto the Gt Britain map, using the pocketgpsworld instructions, all to no avail.
I finally found a website, www.filesaveas.com/tomtom_cameras.html & they have posted what I consider much simpler instructions for installing pocketgpsworld safety cameras onto my PDA, after following their instruction, my system was up & running in about 10-15 minutes.

The only problem is that the instructions are using an 8 months old type download.

The download is now more Device Specific, but overall the instructions still hold true.Smile

Safety Cameras choose TomTom OV2.

Then UK Speed Zoned Complete (24 files).

Save zip folder to a folder on your hard drive e.g. in My Documents.

Unzip folder.

Open new unzipped folder and holding down the left Ctrl key, highlight all the .ov2 and .bmp files.

Right click and choose copy.

Now goto the GB Folder on the SD Card, open it and right click Paste.

Next month, and future months, you will only have to highlight, copy and paste the 24 .ov2 files.

In TomTom

Main Menu 1 of 3 select Change preferences.

Preferences go to 2 of 6 and select Manage POI

Select Warn when near POI

Now you can go through each of the 24 file types and set the warning sound and distance you require.

The following may help you decide which is best for you.

Mph - 30s - 20s - 15s – 10 secs warning.

70 - 1173- 782 - 587 - 391 yards
60 - 1026- 684 - 513 - 342
50 - 879 - 586 - 440 - 293
40 - 732 - 488 - 366 - 244
30 - 588 - 392 - 294 - 196
20 - 441 - 294 - 221 - 147

So a 30 sec. warning at 50mph would be 879 yards. A 15 sec. warning at 50mph would be 440 yards.

Hope this helps.
