Hi,
Could anybody help with the info on installing the camera database into a mio 168 running TOM TOM NAV 5 software.
I have downloaded some files that look like exel files but require some instruction on were to put them (ie: in what folder and how to find the said folder) Not very good at this sort of thing.
Cheers

Hi,
Sorry to be a pain I have just been looking in the folder again and it looks like it could be the correct files.
There are some excel files in there but also some ov2 & Bitmap files.
According to this site these are the ones for my set up? Just need to find the right place for them to work.
Hope this helps,
Cheers once again.

unzip the zip file then copy and paste them to the map file it should be somethig like Great_Britain _Map _ or something similar
then all you have to do is enable them and set up the warnings _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

Hi Alix,
Thanks for your reply,
I have already tried this and the files are in the folder marked GREAT_BRITAIN_MAPS but they do not appear in the POI list’s.
The folders path is =
my windows mobile/storage card/great _britain_maps/.
Do you think this is the correct folder?
Cheers

If you copy the ov2 and the bmp files into your map folder, they should appear in your POI list as pocketgps_uk_gatso_20, 30, etc (assuming you have the full set of 21 speed related files). This is usually automatic, but if not, try a soft reset

Have a look how many files are in the map folder with the file name extension of .ov2 there is a limit with the version 5 TomTom software of 39 custom POI's, if you exceed this figure it is quite possible the camera files won't appear, in which case decide which POI's you need and delete the others - Mike |

Hi,
Just like to say thanks to everybody who gave me advice on how to get the speed cameras onto my PDA, I have finally done it but unfortunately I could not do the ones with the speed ratings on, it is probably like you said too many POI files.
But at least got them on it time for my trip. The MIO 168 is getting a little dated anyway and it is not very stable lots of resets!! So will have to put the p550 on Santa’s list and hope for the best.
Once again thanks to you all for your time take care.
Cheers
