Just for interest, "Users browsing this forum", usually appears at the top of the forum page. I recognise many of the users but when I am using the forum, my name never appears. Why

Go into your profile and make sure Hide your online status: isn't ticked. :P

Thanks, but already checked that - I thought that was what it could be but it does not appear to be. Strange but not important. Thanks again.

Does anybody see their own name? I've always presumed that a) everybody else could see my name b) I could see everybody else's name & c) I couldn't see my own because I already know I'm browsing the forum!

Hmmm! When I look now, I get "Users browsing this forum: JockTamsonsBairn"!
What does "browsing this forum" actually mean? Literally browsing down the list of posts, or looking at/posting in one of the threads? I tend not to browse the forums, using the "View posts since last visit" instead.
