camera alert distance settings

WOnder if anyone could help.. I got My picture taken the other day on m26 bridge. What distance settings would you recommend for mobile cameras?? Have been using database for years with no probs.

Welcome to the forum, For highspeed settings I use 1027 yards, this equates to a 30 second warning prior to the point of the camera. Down at just thirty miles per hour I use 440 yards which again gives a 30 second prior warning, its easy to work the distance out using basic mathmatics, or have a look at THIS Guide where there is a look up table towards the end of the document - Mike
