Does anyone know if maps for GB only will be available
Its great to have the maps of Western Europe but seen as though you spend 99.9% of your time driving in the UK its annoying to have the address selection cluttered with the names of cities in Europe |

It sounds like you bought the wrong map (you did buy it, right?)
The 'plus' versions contain major roads of Europe (MRE) as well as the main country being covered. Install the non-plus version and it won't have MRE.
Tomtom 6 isn't out yet, so who knows what the maps will be... |

I wanted to update my TT5 maps and also wanted some Europe maps so I purchased MOWE by download from TomTom. After purchasing I found they only have the Plus maps in the collection - no single country maps. So I either have to have all the extra names or go back to an outdated map. There's no way to find out what you are actually buying.
I have also found after buying that the Iberia Plus map doesn't have the Canary Islands. They do sell as an extra City map, basically called Las Palmas, which does contain some roads in Gran Canaria but many of them are unnamed. If they have a map it really ought to be included in the MOWE collection. (They also told me it won't be in TT6 either). |

also, you can illegally download maps that are newer than the ones you buy from tomtom.
People wonder why people do that, well if you pay for something thats more out of date than what you can illegally obtain then its easy to see why. _________________ Visit Wayfinder Life for all your Wayfinder Navigator needs |

You'll be lucky...
The uber-mods here would censor any such information were it given. You'll have to look elsewhere I'm afraid. |
