But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

This thread talks of different versions of TomTom Navigator 6, how do you tell which version you have? Is there a way to know?

Tap the lower right hand side of the screen, where the satellite status is. Then tap where it says 'Version' and you will see your software version and build number as well as your map name and version and a host of other things.

Who said you cannot run v6 in landscape mode for either left handers or right handed? It is easy. In WM5, you just hit Settings, System, Screen, General and set accordingly. Then when you load TTN6, it runs the way you want it.
As regards the TomTom Postcode File, it is seriously out of date on their upgrades download page.
If they use the licencenced version of PAF, there always was an error with some Scottish addresses using flats or apartments, but it seems worse than that, it that quite a few are showing the wrong street.
Most of the companies I visit have their own unique PC and these are correct, but only show the road, as not necessarily residendial streets. I have not hit an error in Holland yet. _________________ TomTom Go720 v8.320
