Say you are in your car in the middle of Wales and want to navigate to a supermarket, and you have the BMP/OV2's installed for Sainsbury's, Asda, Tesco, Lidl, Netto, Aldi, Morrison! I think that to find the nearest one, you would have to tell the program to navigate to each of the POI one at a time, and then choose the one with the least miles?
I appreciate that an easier option would be to bunch them all into one OV2 file, and make a BMP which is 'S' for supermarket or something like that. Easier, but you wouldn't know which supermarket your off to!

What is the possibility of choosing that you would like to navigate to a supermarket, and TT will tell you in 1 page of results "Tesco 13m, Asda 16m, Sainsbury's 25m"? Is the software capable of such thing?

Hi
It won't do exactly what you describe as far as I know, but there are simple alternatives.
1. Put them all in one POI file like you say, but include Tesco or Sainsbury etc in the name of each POI. Navigate to POI will then list them in increasing distance from your current position, with each POI showing as a Tesco or Sainsbury etc in the list.
2. Or leave them in separate POI files with icons that identify each supermarket, and then just browse the map from your current position to look for them.

But it will only show you the nearest by line on sight... not by road Confused

In the case of Supermarkets, because they are usually somewhat spread thinly on the ground (usually in towns), the direct line nearest will usually be the nearest.

In the case of the Petrol it is mostly used when on a Route. In TT's case you can then choose one that doesn't take you too far from that route, and select the brand that is your current favourite.

Thanks, Option 1 sounds like a good solution and I'll edit the files and try it out tomorrow.
