Waypoints and POI's in Garmin Quest 1

I know that finding speed cameras has been addressed many times in this forum, however, I'm wondering about the ability to load other POI's into a Garmin Quest. Can I add new POI's that can be searched by the "Find" menu, instead of being searched in the "My Locations" menu?

On the Quest 1, that is not possible (unless you create a custom map with the POI's in it and make that searchable).
