A slightly longer answer...
The Bluetooth feature of the TOMTOM ONE is just to allow it get 'data' using your mobile phone, for traffic services etc..
It doesn't allow it to be used as a Handsfree device.. |

I have a related question, the TT can use the bluetooth data link from a mobile, can it use a similar data link provided by a PC with bluetooth adapter? I've tried this, the PC can see it as a bluetooth device, but won't pair with it, has anyone managed to do this? |

What would you be looking to accomplish assuming you could pair it?

Get the TomTom connected to the web via the PC broadband, I don't have a phone which provides data services. |

Well in that case it seems unlikely, AFAIK most of the services are based on the fact that its data you'll need whilst travelling, so there wouldnt be much point connecting up whilst at home, hence not much point in them allowing for that. Traffic updates for example could be hours out of date.
For other services that need a more static connection, tomtom home seems to be the way to go, but I think there its based on a cable connection only on the grounds you'll be near to your home PC.

Thanks for that, sounds like TomTom Home is the way to go then, will have another look at it and see what it can do. |
