Customised POI warning sounds????

I have downloaded and installed the latest camera database and would like to change the default TT warning sounds.

I have read the topic elsewhere on this site :-

However, I can find no data.chk files on my device.

I am running application version 5.310 (5431).

Any help gratefully received (the simpler the better for this techno-phobe!!)

Also, is there an easy way to tell which version of the camera database has been installed?

OK, second part first - "yes, do I have the latest download of the camera database", so I'll check for the text file - thanks.

As far as the data.chk file goes, I can't find one on my device; I have searched all files and folders for the following strings

data.chk
data.* and
*.chk

with no result. Where should I look?

Start file explorer on the device then go to the following folder:
Program Files/ Navigator the data.chk file will be in there, an unmodified data.chk will be just under 1MB in size - Mike

Found and replaced data.chk file - appears to be working!!
