Is it possible to avoid part of a motorway?

When travelling down on the M6, and you see signs that certain junctions have delays, how can I set tomtom to reroute, avoiding the junctions?

Last time, I had to come off the motorway first, then reroute selecting 'avoid motorways' but then you dont know when your going to be able to get back on.

You could use Find Alternative | Avoid Roadblock | 3 Miles. This would tend to bring you back to the Motorway at a junction that is over 3 miles ahead. Best time to use this is in the last few hundred yards before exiting the motorway.

It would have better if TT had made the larger distance 10 miles (or even 20), and the shortest 1 mile. Only my opinion.8O

I've never tried it on a Motorway for avoiding 2 or more junctions.;)

Yes that does work, unless you want to miss more than 1 junction.

Theres nothing more annoying, than coming off the motorway, taking a detour, to get back on the motorway before you hit the roadworks .
