Navman 530 and SD card sizes

Hello there!!

I'm considering a Navman 530 and would like to know if the 512MB limitation is true for the SD cards? If so, how much of Europe can you get on the card in one go. I'm going to Germany via France and Holland so potentially quite a lot of information....

Can anybody advise me on this? Cheers!

I have a Sandisk 1GB card (standard speed) in my iCN 530. Works perfectly... :D

I use a 512MB Kingston Elite Pro in my 530. I currently have all of France, Belgium, Holland and half of Germany loaded on it (with some space left).
Assuming you are not intending to tour all of France en route, you will comfortably fit all your required maps for the trip on one.
That said many on these boards state they use a 1GB Sandisk without a problem so I'm sure that would work for you too.

got a 2 gig in mine & all the maps 4 europe on it
leaves me about 690mb free
