Is lock up a common problem on Q2?

Was on a motorcycle ride Sunday to a remote area and wanted to keep track of my route. About 50 miles from home, it locked up. Not just freezing but completely locked up. No buttons functional, backlight didn't dim when power removed, nothing.

I didn't know about using the Power and Zoom in keys as a reset, so I just put it in my tank bag for the rest of the trip. Eventually the backlight drained the battery and it turned off.

Anyone else having this problem?
