navman 530 alternative route

ive been using my navman for a couple of journeys but i cant find an alternative route feature on the device or in the manual.

i know you can choose motorway, shortest/quickest,and areas to avoid preferences but its a bit lengthy doing it each time to find your preferred route for each particular journey

is there a way you can choose from several routes, or just get the device to calculate another route without changing the preferences each time

The short answer is no you can't.........But, you can force an alternate route, by setting a multi Point Route. However I find that every route I have asked the Navman to calculate has been excellent, and that's using the default option settings.
