Built in vehicle GPS system

Hi all,

I am getting a new company van (a 2007 Dodge Caravan). I have the option if I want to cough up $1,200 to get the built in GPS system.

I can't seem to get any info on the system-even from the dealer.

How can I find out if it is worth getting the system. I have no idea how many POIs, user friendliness, etc.....

I already have an HP hx4700 so getting an updated SW would be alot cheaper than the vehicle option.

at that price i doubt it'll be worth it. factory fit systems are really poor in comparison to after market products like tomtom etc. in my opinion anyway.

also they'll sting you for another few hundred bucks when its time to update the system.

and you won't be able to load any POIs.
