I3 Turns off when choosing custom points.

Anyone help?

I've just loaded quite a few POIs, mainly from POI Handler, and when I now choose custom points, the unit goes off!!

Anyone know why? Are there too many POIs on?

power source ok..ie batterys charged,or car lead pluged in....if so it could be to many pois..try reducing them to see if it makes a difference....

What power source are you using? If it's a non-Garmin car charger full volume or brightness can sometimes make it turn off. Try reducing either of them to 4.

Thanks for that. I've been on to Garmin support and despite resetting etc, it still turned off when I tried custom point, or recent finds, or favourites.

So I have to send it in to them now. I suppose at least I'll get version 8 mapping when they do it. When's version 9 out!!!
