Go 300 not being detected

Don't know if anyone else has had any problems along these lines. I recently updated my Tom Tom Go 300 to version 6.150 using the Home application downloaded from tom tom and since then my PC fails to detect my tom tom when i attach the USB cable has this happened to anyone else and is there a remedy?

Did you turn the 300 on?8O

Can you see the 300 with Windows Explorer?

Have you pushed the USB Cable in FIRMLY, and have you tried another USB Lead?
