|

Up until the past few weeks I have been using destinator pn with the speed cameras loaded giving me advanced warning of their locations. Not been perfect sounding them as "Favourite Alert" but at least it worked.
However in the past week or so its become intermittent in its warnings & even to the point where the icons for the gatsos have vanished when I tried to reset the alert distance. Other icons are still visible but not warning. To get all the icons to display I have had to activate the 2nd alert even though the warning doesnt sound. The correct sound file is still in the system as you can manually activate it through file manager.
Anybody else have this problem & if so have you managed to resolve it?
Could it be heat related given the weather we've been having?
As an observation, I have re installed the destinator software on the pda & also tried re installing the desktop but up to now still no joy in getting it to work properly. I'm running out of solutions given my limited knowledge. _________________ MIO P350 DIGI WALKER

Well after re installing the program 3 times up to now on my pda & computer I find that I must have done somethin right as it has started working again.
From my current experiences with Destinator pn you may just have to persevere then find it starts working by itself.
That & noticing that it seemed to work better when I re enabled the sounds & notifications (alarms & reminders) on my pda settings.
Also kept My favourites selected in Favourites.
So my pda seems to be working ok for now & I'm not going to touch anything else for now in case I upset it again. _________________ MIO P350 DIGI WALKER

When you say re install do you mean the whole lot, by firstly removing it, or just re install over the original

Removed the Destinator pn from both pda & pc using the the desktop. Then switch the pda off to reset it back to factory settings. Reboot pda & re install Destinator pn to both pc & pda.
Longwinded way of doing it maybe but it seems to have resolved my problems (for the moment anyhow! ) _________________ MIO P350 DIGI WALKER
