im pretty new to this but am willing to learn,take it easy with me boys,im only a women after all :D well ive got this problem have clie th55 with a copy of navagator 5 folloed instrutions activated map of britain works fine,now heres the problem,i bought a copy of a map portugal navagator with a ativation code also,now sorry im going on a bit,i copyed this map in to my memory card but nothing happens the map is not there and it didnt ask for the code,when i go to swich maps theres nothing there,i just dont get it.please help

if you put the sd card in a card reader can you see the map on the pc _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

no sara please dont post the acctivation code
the map file should be at the same level on the sd card as the Great britain map
have you tried deleting the map from the sd card then reintalling the map
also could you tell me how you are putting the map on the sdcard are you just copying the file or are you sing an installer _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

sorry im not going to post the code.
im copying the file onto the sd card thats all i can do with the clie.i copied the map of gb on the card then i loaded and then ativation code and thats it.

it could be you need to show hiden files in to get the map to work
but youll have to do this on the pc before copying the file to the sd card
to do this open my documents or where ever you saved the map file to.
then in the top tool bar click tools then folder options then select the veiw tab, then scroll down and click show hidden files and folders sleect ok then then you copy the map to the sd card and it should now show up _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

no i didnt work,just noticed in the map it self it has 2midi files every other map has 1,
midi london and midi london old,

yes switch map,do you think its the operating system nono sorry the version im using app 5.210 maybe these maps are for version 5 or somthing like that or does this not matter,ive just read somwhere different maps dont work with latter versions,this is right???

if you 5.21 you have the latest version of tomtom 5 and the map should work unless youve downloaded a map for v3 maybe _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .
