TTG 300 Car charger

Hi,

Maybe an old subject, but when I bought my TTG 300 less than a year ago, the car charger lead that came with it is the one fitted with the 2 amp fuse.

I have not really had the call to use it up to now, but now need to.

My question, is this version of the lead a modified version that won't suffer from the broken sense wire and fry the TTG?
