Navman 520 speed

Can anyone tell if I can use my 520 without setting the route from A to B but will give me speed cameras

i have the 510 and speed cameras always come up without setting a route, would think its the same on 520, indeed this is how i use it sometimes, if i know where im going Laughing

How do you mean? If you mean how do you use it without a route, just switch on and click on the MAP button. The navman will alert you when you are within your preset warning distance to any Speed Cameras.. Bear in mind, it will alert you to any cameras in your preset radius, regardless of whether they are on the current road you are travelling along or not. It had me panicking a few times before I sussed that out.

I use my 520 every day just on the map, no route inputted.

All I do is click "Go to Map" and away I go
