Hi All
Wonder if anyone has an idea that may fix this.
My 910 and home dock has been working fine for the last few months however today i have tried to update the speed cam database and it wont connect to the computer when placed in the home dock.
i have tried it in various usb port sand nothing seems to work, i have tried other devices and they work fine, i can only assume that the home dock is borked.
Anyone else had this problem and did they manage to fix it.
I have also emailed tomtom support to see what they say...
Regards

Do you get prompted at any point to connect to the computer by the Go-910 ? also make sure you have the Go-910 USB cable plugged directly in to the PC, eliminate any hubs or splitter cables etc.
Also have you tried docking the unit via the home mount to another PC?
Dejavu springs to mind - at least its not the car mount this time!! - Mike |

It must be a known problem as tomtom sent me a file that they say refreshes the usb ports but in fact it removes the references to the tomtom in the registry 8O. And it works a treat so all hunky dory on the 910 front.
Btw took delivery of those things that we discussed with regards to the aux port and they work a treat |

just as a hint; some h/w seems really picky when it comes to what usb port you connect things to. my hp only recognises the tomtom on one of the front usb ports, on the other it's like nothing's even connected. so make sure you use the same usb port @ all times, at least for reference to make sure nothing else's wrong. |
