Using Traffic info

Used my Nuvi with the GMT12 for the first time today and I have a couple of questions:

1) Does the Garmin automatically plan your route to avoid bad traffic?
2) Does the Garmin update your route as you progress ie if it first routes you one way to avoid traffic, if the traffic clears does your route reverse back to what it was originally?
3) What does the icon of the red warning triangle with a curved/s-shaped road in the botom right of the screen mean?

It's telling you that there is a delay on your route, if you tap the triangle, it will say something like better route available,you then make the choice. yey or ney.
Soom out when triangle comes on and you should see where the problem is along your route.
