Has anyone seen a USB charger cable for the TT Bluetooth GPS?
When I recently travelled with it I took a range of chargers for everything.
If I can get USB cables for TT, my PDA, my phone, iPod etc, then I can greatly reduce the amount of cables and plugs I carry in future. |

I have yet to see a USB-cable to charge a TomTom product...the USB cable needs to carry 10W (5V@2A) and, naturally, the device itself needs to have the capability to convert the power feed from the USB-port, and none of the current TT devices have this, IIRC. |

They manage it for iPods, I can get one for my PDA, and even for my phone, so surely it's possible. Even a lower powered one would trickle charge surely?
My Dell Axim X51v PDA is referred to as a high powere device, but still has a USB charger available. |

I would assume that USB-charge capable devices have this built-in, but TT devices don't. The fact that the USB-cable can carry the charge/current is moot if the device can't use it to charge. :-) |

Well, not really.
The cables I am thinking of have the standard charge plug on one end to connect to the device, and a USB plug on th eother, which can be plugged into USB ports to draw power, or to car adapters with a USB port on or mains adapters with a USB port on (like the iPod charger uses).
All I am looking for is a cable with a round standard TomTom charge plug on one end and a USB plug on the other.
I have seen one for the TT Go. Does anyone know if the plug size is the same on the Go as for the TT Bluetooth? |

Hi gearjammer
Will this USB charger work for the Tom Tom One? I am sure I saw this on another forum a few days ago. |
