Yes. You have to turn the GPS off in the settings, under system, gps mode first.
Then pick your start location, scroll down the menu list to the end and it will say 'set location'. Once you've done that you can choose your destination, simulate the route and look through the waypoints/turns etc. |

What firmware are you using this facility (set location) is no where to be found on Beta 2.82 |

It's on 2.7 but, as portman said, only with GPS Mode set to 'Off'. _________________ Anita

Perhaps I can help.
Turn off GPS
Then choose 'Where to' from main menu
Input address from where you wish simulation to start
Once it is found, scroll down to bottom of list to 'Set Location'
The unit will now think that it is at that location and will navigate any route you choose from there. |

Thankyou floridafil I was trying to navigate to HOME from some where, when you select home it calculates straight away hence I didn't see this. I have uploaded my home address as a custom poi now in addition to having HOME set as my home address if you follow?
Thanks again.
Cheers
