When you have downloaded to your PC you have to unzip and install them.

Click on speed cameras to left of this screen. Scroll down the next page until you get a list of sat nav units. Click on your unit and up will pop instructions telling you how to do this.

If it asks if you want to overwrite the existing files, it sounds like you aren't renaming the files as you go. Using the default filename will result in all the files being called POCKETGP or something similar.

You need to rename each one in turn. I call them GATSO2O, GATSO3O, ect.. Note that for some reason the 0 (zero) key doesn't work, at least for me, in this operation, so I use the letter 'O' to represent a zero. This renaming is done at the 'POI File Name' stage.

Also I have the 'Visibility' slider set to 'High', i.e. fully to the right. Both of these have screenshots in the helpfile I linked to.

The files should be in the directory

My Flash Disk/Navman/Lightning/Navman/MYPOI

Each custom POI is made up of three parts, those having .bm, .ini and .map extensions.

Are your POIs listed under

Preferences/My Data/My POI and if so are they checked?

i am also having problems putting the camera database on my navman 530 its just a shame that all this extra info about renaming the gatso files ect is not mentioned in the link that tells you how to install them in the first place, maybe me and others would not be wasting our time and pulling my hair out if it was included - maybe an update needs doing?

Well it clearly says that you should choose a name to appear within the Navman software. I know what happens when I call two files by the same name and save them to the same place.....

Although an update is needed, as 150' is far too short a distance. 1500' is more realistic.

I have checked all the above and for some reason on my computer, there is no stored 'ini' extension, but the bm and map extensions are there.
Any ideas ? I have tried doing this about six times and the same thing happens.

I really have no idea at all. Would you like me to email you my .ini files (I have the 23 separate ones) and you could try putting them into the correct directory and reset the iCN. It may work, it may not. Otherwise, I suspect a call to Navman Tech Support will be in order.
