Hi Guys/Gals,
I have recently bought the i3 and immediately uploaded the speed camera database and POI's,and just have a couple of questions.
1) I downloaded the poi's from the MaFt site, and then the updated files, extracted them to a folder, then used the poi loader and tht seemed to do the rest. would this update delete incorrect poi's? also all of the original info that is on the card,is that deleted?
2) how can I find how much space is left on the microsd card? and how do I update the uk/ireland maps for all new roads?
As you can tell I am a complete newbie, but hopfully these questions have not been posted before(I couldn't find them anyhow!!)
Many Thanks

1) the 'update' dfile you donwloaded has the same info as the main download, butonlycontains the files that have been modified since the last release. you don't need both.
2) what version maps do you have? go to settings, navigation, then map version - if you have v8 then this is the most recent.

Thanks MaFt,
Found it,yep I have v8.
Have paid my cash and downloaded latest cameras. Will see if it works tonight on way to work(nightshift booo)
Is there a way of changing the folders in the unit- so under food hotels and more I can add my own poi's.i.e. add ' family ' 'friends' etc.
Also I looked at my mates tom tom 300 last night.A lot bigger, but like the idea of celeb voices. Can we do that??
Regards

if you make your own poi file - various guides knocking about but a simple one is at my poi site (see link in signature) - each new csv file gets it's own folder in 'custom points'. unfortunately you can't change the pre-set ones...
