XDA mini gps receiver question

hopefully someone can help me.

I've been going through loads of entries on this site regarding the xda mini / qtek / mda and some of them say that you need a bluetooth receiver and some don't.

So before I spend any money could someone please tell me what I really need ie wired or bluetooth.

to honest id go the bluetooth route as if you change the mini for a mini s or one what ever comes out int e next 12 months then i suspect these devices will use a mini usb port to charge the device as yet there are no wired gps recievers the have this capability yet . also a bluetooth gps will enable you to use tomtom for a short time away from the car

The mini series can only use bluetooth.

thanks for the replies. Is bluetooth only only option for the qtek 9100 too?

Yeah if your buying reciver sparately get a holux or the new carcomm GPS as they both use mini USB chargers as well. It means your chargers and cables will be the same for both phone and GPS receiver.
