| hi everyone, i have tried to reload v2.7 after having big problems with v3.10 but my unit still says v3.00?. when i try to roll back it tells me that the f/w i am trying to load is the same as all ready installed, can anyone help me as garmin refuse to accept that there is a problem with their f/w. thanks in advance.  to the forum remf,
you can't go back using the webupdater software it must be done manually. The software is available on my web space at http://makeashorterlink.com/?C1AF2211D straight forward to install remember your favorites will be lost unless you back up with easygps at http://www.easygps.com/download_xp.asp. |

| thanks for the link i tried it but it still wont go back to v2.7 it still says v3.00 and the loader says the f/w is the same as loaded still. |

i've had this before. you need to make sure that the folder where the firmware unzips to is a new folder or, at least, delete the old firmware files from that folder. then run the updater.
