URGENT !! CLASSIC V 300 MOUNT ??

Hi This is Urgent
IS THE CLASSIC WINDSREEN MOUNT THE SAME AS THE 300/500 MOUNT ??

No, the mounting "shoe" is different - the "classic" has two multiway connectors and the 300/500/700 have only one.

Other than that the mounts were the same, until TT decided to change the design after the new models had been available for some time. The original shape was squarish, the new one more round like an ice cream cone. There were quite a few problems with those breaking, so TT started to replace them with the "old" design.

You can put a "classic shoe on a x00 series mount and vice versa, if you have the bits.

My problem was yesterday when i removed the mount from the Windscreen
the sucker stayed on the screen !! the bit it fitted to snapped !
But just found EBAY have the bit that fixes to the screen for £13 delivered think thats about the cheapest option ?
so unless anyone knows different ? I will order one

Update :D Emailed Tom Tom Support they are sending me a new sucker mount FOC :D :D :D :D :D :D
