Does anyone have a suggestion as to what product would be suitable for a Navman 3450 vent mount in a Mercedes A Class?

The vents are horizontal and the vents do not close completely. The vent is closed by turning a dial alongside the the vent. Would you like me to forward a photograph?[/img]

If the vents are horizontal than most vent mount solutions should fit it, but it does depend on the depth of the slats.

Arkon or Seidio would be a good bet. If the slats are very deep, you may get problems with them being gripped as most vent mounts have a pressure clip that pushes against both sids of the slat, but also hooks onto the end of the slat inside the vent to stop it coming away quickly. Most also have a support arm which helps take the strain away from the vent stopping it from snapping the slats off.

Take a look at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/theclipventmount.php for more info.
