Hi all,
I have the IPAQ HX2190 with Tom Tom Navigator 5 installed, since yesterday i have not been able to use Tom Tom 5 no way no how!

It was working perfect, switched it off, switched it back on ready to navigate to my next Job and keeps popping up with a box which says HandleCommand at the top and inside the box it says... no fields in command!

I have tried everything to resolve it...soft resets, uninstalling/reinstalling of TTN5 with no luck Sad i have scoured TTN5's Site for help...HP's Site for help and this Site for help (searches for a similar problem etc)

I can't do without my Sat Nav for my Job (I was working in Oldham yesterday with a A to Z and i felt helpless with no Sat Nav, didnt know the area at all), i'm like a duck out of water, also with no Speed Camera warnings, it's like driving on eggshells :0

I'm hoping one of the wizards on here can solve it for me, if so i would appreciate it very very much.

Thanx in advance

Cheers

maybe the sd card needs formatting but do a backup first and make sure veiw hidden files is checked in the properties of the sd card

or and hate this option but you could try a hard reset

Thnx for the reply alix, appreciated m8
I formatted the Card like you said, reinstalled Tom Tom from scratch again but still the same problem...so it was the dreaded Hard Reset option eek! :0

I was mooching through my PDA to see what i needed to list so i could reinstall again after Hard Reset...when EUREKA! i spotted a program i installed about a month and half ago called SPB Backup...i done a search and lo and behold i had luckily done a Backup too....

Clicked on it and crossed my fingers and couple minutes later abracadabra PDA soft resetted itself and came back on... feck was sheeting myself!

Well i clicked on Tom Tom 5 peeking through a slit in my fingers it came on and is now back working to perfection PHEWWWWWWWWWWW!

SAT NAV up and running again.... A to Z has been kicked to and slung in the bin...i dont ever wanna see another 1 of those dastardly mapping books again grrrr!

Once again thnx alix you pointed me in the right direction

Cheers
