Not sure if anyone is looking for an alternative to the standard Navman windscreen mount for 510/520 but I've just purchased a Brodit Mount # 215035 from www.siocommunications.co.uk
It evens holds the power cable in the mount so all you have to do is slide the Navman in.

High quality mount worth every penny IMHO

I agree. Getting the bracket into the ventilator was a bit tricky, but once installed its as steady as a rock.

Only thing was that I got a bit of a rattle as the bracket must be a fraction of a millimetre too wide. A couple of strips of sellotape around the bottom edges of the Navman has fixed the rattle.

I also use a Brodit mount - which I find works brilliant

Funnily enough , I also had a slight rattle and considered ways to deaden the rattle . I then read a posting on this site that mentioned the rattle was not from the unit fitting in the Brodit mount , but from the removable pointer fitted into the Navman unit.
Sure enough when I removed it the rattle disappeared - now I am more careful replacing the pointer to ensure it doesn't create a rattle
Maybe worth a try
