funny voices on 520

hi all after downloading and installing speed cam onto my icn 520 i went onto simulate route where i know there are speed cams after the 520 told me there was a gatso the normal voice promts came out like a high pitched squeek any ideas how to get round this as i have gone back to the ding kind of warning and then re set it to speak the warning but stil get the screech promps after the gatso spoken warning

Hi,
This is a fairly common problem. I think you have inadvertantly switched to your US settings and as a result you have used the Florida voice settings for directions. IE Mickey Mouse. I suggest going into preferences, Languages and changing to Minnie Mouse. This wont solve your problems but at least you will have a friendly female voice to navigate by.

I was being flippant there. Have you tried a soft reboot. Use your stylus and press the receded button top left of the navman.
