Hi,
hopefully someone out there has a solution to getting memory map able to connect to a blue tooth gps device when running on a Dell X51v running win mobile5 with tom tom 5.21 installed. tt5.21 works perfectly it starts bluetooth and connects to my fortuna clipon without fail. But regardless of the state of the pda (straight after a reset or after tt has been run) memory map cannot see any gpsdevice.

I have read and tried all of the relevant posts on similar subjects (that I have found)

Tried to configure the wm gps function - this does not allow for baud rate of 38400 (my gps units setting)

tried uninstalling tomtom gps - not installed already

Tried installing gps gate - no luck

It would appear to be a similar issue to the one I had on my Ipaq where tt would grab the blue tooth port and not release it but the tom tom gps fix would appear to not be the same for tom tom 5.21 as it is not installed anyway.

has anyone experienced this problem on this unit?

I have used Memory Map with my Ipaq HX4700, bluetooth GPS and TT5.1 installed.

I found the only way to connect was to manually connect using Bluetooth Manager then starting Memory Map.

I hope that this helps you.
