also when I try to load a text file the first one loads O.K. but then the next one asks do I wish to replace the existing file what should I do?

When you try to transfer the bitmap files are you selecting the file manually or relying on the POIEditor to select it for you?
When you try to transfer the second file, do you ensure it has a different name from the first? _________________ Tim |

thankyou for your quick response.
firstly when I try to download bitmaps I go to the POI editorand manualy select the bitmap
secondly I am not renaming the file as it reads pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.asc, the second file reads the same but ends 30.asc.
I hope you can explain this in layman's terms as I am new to this
