IPAQ 4700 Speaker needs a Replacement

IPAQ 4700 with Duff Speaker. Using 3.5 mm O/P to amp L/S. It's a known problem with a fix if found in time. Q. Can I buy a speaker - cheaply? Not the £80 repair. The L/S spare part must be available in China or Korea. javascript:emoticon()

Yes it is possible, if you are quite at home with electronics and want to have a go at changing the speaker yourself it can be done with a little care and attention (I have changed a few of these recently due to failure). I will e-mail you a word document that details how to do it, but if you are unsure in anyway having looked at the pictures and read the text, the £80 might be a better option - Mike
