Activation code nightmare!!

Hi
I have a TTGo and my dad has a TT One. I copied his spanish maps onto my TTGo and all worked well when I went to Spain. However, when he copied my GB maps onto his TT One, it's asking for an activation code, why? and more importantly is there a way around it? Both sat navs are legit as are the maps, so what's the problem?

The Maps are activated for a particular device, if you want new or upgraded maps for a device you have to buy legitimate ones, you cannot just copy them between machines thats why they have the protection/activation code.

Just because you have several machines does not imply a right to use the maps between them
