i3 Battery Problem

Hi All.

Recently purchased and i3 from Halfords.

Had v2.60 firmware on it when I bought and I was experiencing white screens - so I upgraged to v3.00.

I never tried v2.60 on batteried, but have noticed that althought the battery indicator shows full the unit will switch off randomly and not come back on until I plug it into the cig lighter socket!

Any ideas?

the battery indicator might be suspect or does it switch of when it trys to voice navigate,cos the power needed to give you voice commands sometimes trips the i3 to switch of if the batteries are low...

What type of batterires are you using and have you got the correct type selected in the settings?
