236 @ WM2003 MS Streets works fine, TomTom says no GPS-help

Well this stinks...

I had a Holux 231 which worked great with my TomTom 5.21 for smartphone 2003. (audiovox 5600)

Well i hated that i had to always turn the 231 on so i sold it and bought a 236. Now no matter what i try I cannot get TomTom to find the 236. It works fine with pocket streets but again TomTom says no GPS found.

I have reset my smartphone and just installed TomTom and paired only the 236 still wont find it. Anyone have any ideas?
