The new data.chk file goes into program files/ navigator folder NOT the voices folder, unfortunatly you will find the build 5431 you have on the PPC will not work with a revised data.chk the device will run up then crash back to the today screen, I tried this some time ago, there is also a warning stating this on Ray Flanagans site www.tomtomsatnav.info . The only way around this is to load TN5,21 build 5430 if you still have this on the PC - Mike |

Remove the original data.chk file from the Program Files Folder on your XDA, rename the new one to data.chk then add it to Program Files.
The names of the poi sounds will be the same but they do actually change to warnings as listed below:
Polite 1 = average speed camera zone
Polite 2 = red light camera
Polite 3 = temporary camera
Bell 1 = Mobile 30
Bell 2 = Mobile 40
Bell 3 = Mobile 50
Boing = Mobile 60
Bugle = Mobile 70
Cow = Gatso
Cuckoo = Mobile
Beep 1 = Gatso 30
Beep 2 = Gatso 40
Beep 3 = Gatso 50
Beep 4 = Gatso 60
Beep 5 = Gatso 70 |

The wonders of MSN - took some time working it out but I hope you got what you wanted in the end, a working spoken voice alert of the camera(s) - Mike |
