Any more details on the £4.75 one from Tesco (e.g. model etc)?
Cheers. |
Its a tesco own brand but I have used it now for two weeks and no probs on full volume and brightness and it retracts to the original size after use(the coily bit). The adapter looks very similar to original Garmin one. The plug is not right-angles but i used an V3 right-angle adapter that I had spare(but this is not necessary but looks a little neater). Highly recomended!! _________________ i3 2.70(went to 2.82,3.0,3.1 but downgraded) with V8 map on microSD card

Many thanks - went to Tesco last night and bought one. Must say its brilliant - the coiled section is a lot more flexible than the one I broke - very satisfied.
Where can I get a V3 right-angled adapter from?

i bought one of these two days ago from a local no hassle mobile phone shop.
it is an ORANGE SPV-C500 charger.
the lead is curled and very flexible although not right angled.
i paid £5 cash.
have test run i3 since on full volume and brightness with waas enabled.
NO problems at all.
ideal for replacement or second user power lead.
score 9/10 as not right angled. |

I have a local Tesco Extra and want to but one, but nobody has said what the Tesco's own model actually is that we need to look for. Please share your secret with me/us. |

My power lead 'went missing' after my wife took the I3 out for the day.
Got one of these yesterday, and I'm using it with the original USB cable that came with the I3...works perfectly.
