BT359S and case

Greetings! I recently picked up a BT359S for use with my Treo 650. Since I use it outdoors a lot, I'm looking for a solution for the BT to our usual rain here.
I came up with using a golf shoe spike container, translucent/clear plastic with a screw top. Though watertight, I'm concerned about reception. I haven't run tests yet, but I was wondering if anyone else had experimented with a similar solution, or had experienced bad reception from something similar?

I have used one of those GPS units in an Otter box (clear plastic lid etc) and reception was fine, it even worked indoors - so I guess your spike holder container will be fine, give it a try - Mike

Thanks Mike! I haven't used it enough yet to know these things. I figured if it could work through the windshield of my truck it would propbably be fine - but ya'never know....
